“Serving as a Reserve Navy Supply Corps officer gives me a useful perspective that customers seem to appreciate. As Immersion’s Director of Operations, I spend a lot of time managing our people and helping our customers at an executive level. But my military experience gives me a lot of practical knowledge as well. I know IT, and I understand supply chain lifecycle management. So, my real role here is a behind-the-scenes “coach” – I help orchestrate our engagements at a higher level, but also dive deep into the details when there’s a particularly tough challenge, or just to ensure that our clients are completely satisfied with our results up and down the chain of command.”
